stupid is as stupid does

im not very political, but its hard to not to get caught up in the whole political whirlwind when the election is only days away. i accept that everyone has their own views and beliefs...even if they are not mine. after all...that truly is the beauty of america. but i have a few thoughts on my mind that i must get off my chest.

tonite, one of my family members mentioned that they knew people who shared the same beliefs as obama, but would not vote for him because he is black. this is nothing new...a lot of people feel this way. it does not however, excuse them for being idiots. i am not stupid...i know racism and prejudice exists. i just feel so sad that in this day and age...people feel this way.

but this isnt my biggest problem with this sad and pathetic way of thinking. my biggest problem; is that this is coming from people who are jewish. i know....jewish people will vote for jewish people, blacks for blacks...blah, blah, blah. more stupidity. but i find it so ironic...(not in a funny way), that jewish people will slam black people. and not just in politics. i want to say to these people...(and actually have said it in the past), "ummm...hello? youre jewish! there are people out there who hate you just for being jewish! dont you think its insane that someone hates you and they dont even know you? and youre doing the same thing to black people?" and believe me...i know it works the other way too. there are plenty of black people who hate white people for no reason. if you ask me....its all pretty ridiculous. im sort of getting off track here tho. hatred has been going on since the beginning of time; so i dont think im offering anything so profound or enlightening here.

so...this is what i do want to say...

if you support mccain...fine. if you believe that mccain is the best candidate for the presidency...fine. if youre voting for mccain....fine!

if you support obama.....fine. if you support obama, but wont vote for him, because hes black...

then youre a fucking moron.
